sleeps like a baby

The other night I went to check on Kade and the way he was sleeping reminded me of when he was a baby. I couldn't find the exact picture I was looking for from when he was a baby, but it's close. He would always sleep with his arms above his head....

The Easter Bunny can climb stairs....

Apparently he can! I am terrible at keeping up with my blog and with all of you who blog on a daily basis! Anyway, our Easter was great! Kade woke up to a trail of eggs that led him downstairs to an enormous amount of candy, movies, a lightsaber for he and his daddy, markers, crayons...you name it, he got it! After hunting eggs and eating chocolate bunnies for breakfast we headed to church! I was so proud of Kade b/c Easter was the day he decided to go to Sunday school all on his own! He can't wait for Sunday each week to see his new friends and learn about Jesus. After church we headed to mom and dads for lunch and an egg coloring EGGSTRAVAGANZA....

It's been several weeks since I last updated my blog. I didn't realize I was so busy! So, two weeks ago my husband and son came home. Kade crawled up on the couch with me and I immediately noticed something...HE CUT HIS HAIR. He got a hold of my brother's clippers and shaved a piece right in the center. I tried to mask it with gel, but NOTHING worked! He thought I would be mad at him, but I think all kids do it..RIGHT?!?!?!? How do you like his buzz cut??? It's pretty cute and perfect for T-ball, which we start in May..YIPPEE!!!

This past weekend we went to the local Easter Egg Hunt here in Rockwall. We did it last year and Kade really enjoyed it. They have a little petting zoo and the baseball fields are covered with candy...every kids dream.





Well, I need to go and read a few books to my kiddo before bed...I'll update more later!
